Netuitive Releases SI 4

Updated performance manager features more scalability and customizable dashboards

Netuitive Inc. today released version 4 of its Netuitive SI, the company's performance and systems management offering. Among the features in the latest version are new visualization capabilities, LDAP support, customizable dashboards, and "enhanced UI scalability," the company says.

The new release builds on Netuitive's application of "advanced mathematics and automated analysis" to reduce the occurrence of manual errors and increase productivity, the company said. In fact, according to Netuitive's Web site, compared to other alternatives, Netuitive SI can identify problems as much as 10 times faster and decrease false alerts by 99.5 percent.

To help administrators view and manage the vast amounts of information available throughout the enterprise, Netuitive SI 4 now lets users organize elements in their systems into "smart groups," so-called because they automatically identify new system components and associate them with the appropriate grouping.

Netuitive says version 4 also features more customizable dashboards "based upon users preferences and permissions," role-based permissions control and LDAP authentication. "The user interface for Netuitive SI now matches the power and scalability of the underlying technology," said Netuitive President and CEO Nicola Sanna in the press release. "Netuitive is not satisfied to just have the best self-learning technology. We also want to have the most usable, intuitive platform for performance management."
