Securify Updates Monitoring Offering With Flow Data

Company says integration with flow data eliminates the need for additional probes

Securify's "identity-based" network monitoring solution now includes information from flow data records in its reporting, the company announced today.

According to Securify, this integration with network flow data eliminates the need for additional, dedicated probes. Instead, Securify's solution -- which integrates with Juniper's JFlow and Cisco's NetFlow products -- builds on the network infrastructures that are already available.

The company added, "The addition of flow data complements Securify's existing, patented traffic capture and decode capabilities."

The combination of real-time, identity-based reporting and network flow data lets administrators monitor network-wide usage from one location, detect unauthorized use and determine who is accessing their network.

"Securify now provides IT operations teams with the Holy Grail of monitoring: a unique, broad and efficient representation of what business users are actually doing on the network at any given moment," said Securify CFO and president Buck French. "By providing this type of decision support, IT professionals can better prioritize proactive versus reactive tasks, and resolve issues before they manifest as problems that cause user disruption or unexpected audit findings."

The new "flow-based" monitors from Securify start at $15,500. For more information, visit http://securify.com.
