eIQnetworks Releases Security, Risk, and Audit Management Appliance-based Solutions

Appliances include pre-installed software and a hardened operating system

eIQnetworks, Inc. has expanded its flagship SecureVue line with two appliance-based versions that allow enterprises to leverage the full benefits of the SecureVue security, risk, and audit management platform that the company says can be deployed rapidly.

The SecureVue 2000 and SecureVue 3000 appliances include pre-installed software and a hardened operating system; they can be installed using Web-based setup.

“Our research shows that best-in-class organizations are proactively reducing the number of silos for their security governance, risk management and compliance initiatives,” said Derek E. Brink, vice president and research director for IT Security at Aberdeen Group, in an eIQnetworks statement. “Appliances, such as eIQ’s SecureVue, are a logical approach based on their full-featured security, risk, and audit functionality combined with the ‘plug and go’ simplicity of installation and speed to deployment.”

eIQ’s SecureVue 3000 Central Server has a storage capacity of 1.8 TB, can support up to 15,000 events per second, and has no limits on user access. The SecureVue 2000 Regional Server, which is deployed in conjunction with the SecureVue 3000 Central Server in distributed environments, offers 1 TB storage capacity and supports up to 6,000 events per second.

Other features of the SecureVue include:

  • A log manager collects, archives, correlates, and reports on event data from all devices, servers, and applications

  • Vulnerability analytics scans assets on demand and identifies, tracks, and reports on system vulnerabilities

  • Configuration analytics detects, correlates, alerts, and reconciles configuration changes and enforces control policies

  • Asset analytics centrally tracks and manages hardware and software assets, improving visibility and reducing asset oversight

  • Performance analytics collects and analyzes performance data from all network devices and servers and proactively monitors network health

  • Network behavioral anomaly detection profiles NetFlow, C-Flow, S-Flow, and J-Flow data and identifies on anomalies in resource utilization, application usage, and behavioral patterns

Both SecureVue 2000 and 3000 are available now starting at $29,995 for SecureVue 2000 and $69,995 for SecureVue 3000. More information is available at http://www.eIQnetworks.com/products/SecureVue.shtml.
