Tidal Releases Intelligent Reporter
Job scheduling tool supports Tidal Enterprise Scheduler version 5.3 and above
Tidal Software recently announced the general availability of its job scheduling product, Tidal Intelligent Reporting for Enterprise Scheduler, designed for version 5.3 and higher of Tidal Enterprise Scheduler.
Intelligent Reporting promises to cut down on the time spent on job scheduling analysis and reporting by compiling all scheduler metrics into one data warehouse. The product can also combine data from other job scheduling environments, so users can track and compare job scheduling performance across several sites.
The product also includes "over two dozen ready-to-run reports," according to a company press release. The reports take a day to complete, the company said, after installation and population. Reports can also be scheduled for delivery to users or they can be viewed online or as a PDF, Excel spreadsheet, or Word document.
Intelligent Reporting also features "fine grain authorization" -- permissions to view reports can be assigned according to management levels or business units. A built-in "ad hoc report editor" gives users the ability to customize reports themselves.
"By combining Tidal Intelligent Reporting with the Enterprise Scheduler, customers can automate, analyze, and streamline operational processes more quickly than ever before to gain higher levels of production efficiency and enhanced service levels today and into the future," said Wayne Greene, Tidal's senior director of product management, in a prepared statement.
