Tidal Releases Intelligent Automation for Exchange Server

Features include support for SCOM 2007

Tidal Software has released its Intelligent Automation product for Exchange Server.

Intelligent Automation lets administrators automate their processes for managing Exchange Server without the need for scripting, as well as make sure that those processes are done consistently while maintaining security and company policies.

The product also helps troubleshoot Exchange Server problems, the company said, by quickly pinpointing the location and nature of any problems in the Exchange environment.

Other features include a "sophisticated workflow process" to help ease migration from Exchange Server 2003 to 2007, "self-service" task-delegation, auditing capabilities, support for System Center Operations Manager 2007, and a customizable user interface.

"Tidal has developed an offering that effectively helps customers consistently apply their company's processes and policies, as well as reduce the impact of environmental and peripheral factors on Exchange Server," said Ted Trimble, Tidal's senior vice president of engineering, in a press release. "With Tidal, Microsoft's solutions can more easily maintain service levels for vital applications, which enable IT to increase focus on aligning the applications with the business' dynamic needs."
