Blueprint Launches Blueprint Resource Center

Cloud-based solution launched in conjunction with latest release of Requirements Center 2009

In conjunction with the release of its Requirements Center 2009 Feature Pack Two, Blueprint has launched the Blueprint Resource Center, a "cloud-based collaboration system" designed to let business analysts "accelerate and align" project teams, the company said in a press release.

The Blueprint Resource Center lets users sort through different content types, from videos to instructional materials, from various organizations; use company-specific best practices and templates from their own intranet; access several blogs geared toward business analysts; and contact Blueprint staff for assistance.

According to the company, the Blueprint Resource Center is "completely customizable" and can be accessed through Blueprint Requirements Center. The latest version of Blueprint Requirements Center deepens the product's integration with HP Quality Center by letting HP Quality Center users "import and leverage assets within Blueprint's Elicitation module," the company said.

"Blueprint is delivering the industry's first business analyst solution which extends beyond client software tools," said Blueprint CMO Matthew Morgan in a prepared statement. "With this new release, BAs [business analysts] are empowered to leverage collections of hosted BA-specific resources that are pulled together as a seamless extension to their everyday work environment. Blueprint is providing new ways to shrink time-to-value in today's highly competitive, challenging economic environment."
