AppGRC for PeopleSoft Financial Available
Product lets PeopleSoft Financial Management users automate compliance reporting processes
Lumigent Technologies Inc. has released a version of its AppGRC product designed for Oracle's PeopleSoft Financial Management users.
AppGRC for PeopleSoft Financial Management will help companies reduce governance, reporting and compliance (GRC) costs by automating the compliance reporting process. According to the company, the product "runs alongside" existing PeopleSoft Financial applications, providing continuous data monitoring and identifying key, "source-level" information.
"It captures every single change to the source data it monitors," a Lumigent press release said, "no matter who or what initiates it."
It does this by generating audit trails that link before/after views to user IDs. Constant baseline monitoring means that "no change" reports can be easily provable, the company said.
The product also comes with reporting templates and generates master reports that show which controls need to be tested and which can be skipped (such as controls that haven't been changed since the previous audit).
"One of the big knocks on regulations is that they impose a hidden tax on companies that must demonstrate their compliance," said Lumigent CEO and President John H. Capobianco in a prepared statement. "AppGRC for PeopleSoft Financial Management will let PeopleSoft Financials users give themselves a tax cut by automating regulatory compliance tasks previously done by hand, providing transparency and accountability without onerous costs."
Pricing begins at $82,500. For more information, go to http://www.lumigent.com/solutions/appgrc.html.
