Drobo Releases Storage Products Family for SMBs

New business line combines technical sophistication, ease of use, affordability

Storage vendor Drobo today introduced a new line of storage solutions designed for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs). An alternative to traditional big-box storage, the new business line from Drobo is designed for enterprises seeking storage alternatives for VMware support, file backup and offsite archiving, and expandable capacity for Exchange among its business storage needs.

Drobo’s new purpose-built business line packages enhanced storage power and performance in the simple, elegant “box.” The new products include:

Drobo’s new business line delivers performance enhancements, new management software, and 24x7 DroboCare support in addition to the existing style and storage features that Drobo is known for. Certified for VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft Exchange, straightforward deployment (5-click setup) is coupled with BeyondRAID technology for easy hot-add capacity, thin provisioning, deprovisioning, and virtual tiering.
